Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

With a Traction Magne, Hybrid Camber and HorsePower construction, the Travis Rice Pro is packed with the best of Lib Tech technology for big performance. All of this is packed into a twin-tip shape that's ideal for freestyle, allowing Travis to send his best tricks into the dream spots.

What is the program of the Lib Tech Travis Rice Pro snowboard?

The Travis Rice Pro is a twin-tip snowboard, which means that it is symmetrical between the front and the back and can therefore be ridden both in switch and in your normal direction. The HorsePower construction combined with the hybrid camber makes for a board that is both powerful and playful on all terrains. Its grip on hard snow is great, but it's not as sharp as a carving board. It floats well in the snow but not as well as a 100% powder board. However, it does kick ass when it comes to style, creativity and charging big kickers. A true freestyle/all-mountain beast!

Who is the Lib Tech Travis Rice Pro snowboard for?

We recommend this model to advanced/expert snowboarders looking for a powerful and versatile freestyle board suitable for hard rides throughout the resort and off-piste.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
