Description

The Amplid Creamer snowboard gives a strong focus on power. Stiff as heck and ultra responsive, the board features basalt inserts to absorb terrain vibrations and minimise chatter. There’s also a layer of carbon that maximises stiffness without adding unnecessary weight. As if this wasn’t enough, the Creamer also comes with the Stomp Guard technology which is a thin aluminium and titanal alloy that boosts the board’s durability.

What can the Amplid Creamer snowboard do?

The Creamer is an aggressive freeride performer, it’s the kind of board that doesn’t spend much time on groomed snow. It doesn’t matter if it’s fresh powder or chopped up snow, as long as it’s ungroomed it’s happy. Its rockered nose and directional shape give the board tons of manoeuvring and keep the board afloat effortlessly. The stiff construction also brings support and makes the board powerful and stable even on rough terrains. The traditional camber keeps the board lively and grippy. If you happened to ride on groomers in case there was no snow off the piste, note that you’ll benefit from high carving abilities and tons of precision.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
