Description

With Amplid, women have their own directional board complying with their hard charging needs, may these be on powder or on piste. This is the Lovelife, a snowboard featuring basalt to absorb vibrations and eliminate chatter due to speed and carbon for added stiffness and power.

What can the women’s Amplid Lovelife snowboard do?

On piste, the model grips hard thanks to a section of camber between the bindings. It keeps the board lively and responsive, allowing for carving long arcs with precision and charging down black runs at full speed, slicing the icy snow as if it was butter. The board delivers lightning fast energy transfers and turns out to be a fantastic freerider as well. Its rockered nose ensures floatability and agility through the deep along with a solid breaking power on crud. It makes the board very effective on the backside of the mountain and very comfortable on the frontside. You can even work on your freestyle skills and count on its basalt reinforcements to soften things up!

Who is the women’s Amplid Lovelife snowboard designed for?

This versatile freeride board is a great match for advanced and expert women riders looking for on-piste precision and snap and off-piste floatability. The Lovelife makes every day a lot brighter and has a name that suits well!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
