Description

The Amplid Paradigma is a snowboard that’s more versatile than a swiss army knife and stronger than a rock. The board can swap terrains all day thanks to its modern construction incorporating basalt and carbon materials. The former brings more stability and absorbs chatter and negative vibrations while the latter makes the ride livelier and more responsive. The directional twin shape comes with a big rocker in the nose to enhance the board’s conduct on soft snow turning it into a real freerider suited for sessions of freestyle in the backcountry. The board also features a high-end Sintered 7 base for an optimal glide on all types of snow.

What can the Amplid Paradigma snowboard do?

It is a great do-it-all board with a traditional camber between the bindings delivering edge grip and precision to carvers. The board snaps from turn to turn and handles speed with a ridiculous ease. Its rocker enhances turn entries and exits and makes the whole riding smoother. It’s also a nice help to stay afloat on powder. It ensures powerful turns through the deep and provides a nimble feel to the board. With the Paradigma, Amplid is releasing a real nice board that feels super lively under the feet and that’s perfectly suited for shredding the entire mountain.

Who is the Amplid Paradigma snowboard designed for?

We recommend this powerful snowboard to advanced and expert riders looking for a snowboard that can do it all regardless of the snow conditions. Piste, powder and even park, the Paradigma performs everywhere and remains one of Amplid’s best selling boards.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
