Description

The Souly Grail from Amplid is a directional snowboard designed for riders seeking thrills on all types of terrain. Thanks to its tapered shape, set-back stance and a flex carefully balanced between nervousness and suppleness, this board promises a fluid and stable experience both on and off piste.

What's in it for the Amplid Souly Grail snowboard?

Equipped with a directional profile with a fish tail narrower than the front, the Souly Grail focuses on agility and lift in powder while ensuring precision and control during turns. Its HEXO2 wood core reinforced with biaxial fibers guarantees enhanced responsiveness and stability, improving overall maneuverability as well as the board's buoyant behavior. The classic camber/rocker combo ensures relaunch in every curve while making transitions smoother and more accessible. Finally, its balanced flex offers enough stiffness to carve clean curves.

Who is the Amplid Souly Grail snowboard for?

This model is primarily aimed at intermediate to expert riders looking for a versatile board capable of adapting to all desires: tracking in powder or taking full advantage of carving on groomed slopes.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
