The Rental version features a specific upper finish and a black base making the board more durable. 

The Apo Blend has rightly earned its position in Apo's catalogue. This entry-level board provides riders with versatility, easiness and effortless performance. The board features a C2 Control core made of composite materials improving dratstically the lightweight and the accessibility of the board while its rockered profile allows for intuitive turn initiations and seamless transitions. The rockered nose also improves how the board works on powder and helps keeping riders afloat as if it was easy. The progressive flex allows all-mountain performance so you can shred the park or bust through crud with the same comfortable feel.

 

What our testers say : The board returns for 2015 with the same capabilities it had for 2014 which is good, cause the board worked perfectly. If you go for the Blend, you go for playfulness and versatility wrapped in a forgiving package. If you want to do it all with one affordable board, this is a safe bet. Beginners and intermediates should get on well with it.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
