Description

Yey ! As for Gérome Matthieu, Tyler Chorlton has his pro-model re-done this year, and as for Gérome Matthieu, the board hasn't been changed much. Why would they change something that's perfect already ? Tyler is a rider who rides everything, so he needs versatility, and that's what the board does best. Featuring a W-Rocker, the board shreds parks and pow equally. And the design is just...Maaoow, who said kittens were cute ?

What our testers say : The Tyler is a twin-tip featuring a classic camber in the mid section and two rockered tips, Apo calls that W-Rocker. The result is a subtle blend of high-speed stability on pistes and optimum efficiency on pow. Add to this a stiff flex and you'll get the extra pop you were missing. The board will demand a certain level to be enjoyed, and it likes to be ridden hard and fast. If you're advanced to expert rider, then you can be the one.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
