Description

Like all Arbor snowboards, the Foundation Rocker is manufactured with the aim of having a reduced environmental impact. This includes materials from sustainable resources, such as an FSC certified wood shell, recycled steel edges and a bio-sourced resin and wax. Durable materials, a board that is aesthetically beautiful, sturdy in use and very pleasant to ride as part of its programme!

What is the Arbor Foundation Snowboard Rocker program?

The Foundation Rocker offers a flex that is accessible, flexible at the spatula and which remains comfortable descent after descent. The System Rocker profile, Arbor's inverted camber, provides great forgiveness onpiste, an ability to absorb all the irregularities on bumpy slopes and spring snow, as well as a good lift in powder snow. This flex and inverted camber provide easy glide throughout the resort, for 100% fun sessions. It's a board suitable for all conditions, perfect for discovering new off-piste sensations, and why not freestyle!

Who is the Arbor Foundation Rocker snowboard for?

We recommend this model to beginner snowboarders already familiar with snowboarding, or to a snowboarder who is looking for a really playful board that enables fun throughout the resort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
