Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Bataleon Evil Twin is a twin-tip snowboard ideal for freestyle riding, with its symmetrical shape that makes it easy to ride switch, its powerful pop but playful flex at the tips, its precise grip to slice through the piste and its concave shaped tips that provide forgiveness and flotation.

What is the program of the Bataleon Evil Twin snowboard?

The Evil Twin features a lightweight yet powerful construction, thanks to an Ultra-Light poplar and paulownia wood shell, triaxial fiberglass braiding and Carbon Stringers cross bindings. Combined with a classic camber, this construction gives you a board with a dynamic but accessible flex, great ollie pop and soft enough tips to easily place press tricks and the like. You also get a little torsional stiffness, which gives you a powerful grip and more stability on the piste. Not bad for carved turns, or to have support during committed manoeuvres on the kickers of the snowpark. There is also a carbon centre reinforcement that allows for an additional ollie pop. Finally, like all Bataleon boards, the Evil Twin has a slightly concave shape on the tips, which allows for more forgiveness on the edges and facilitates the passage on soft snow and powder, to also be able to place tricks on the edges of the slopes.

Who is the Bataleon Evil Twin snowboard for?

We recommend the Evil Twin for a freestyle snowboarder looking for a dynamic twin-tip suitable for the entire resort. Accessible from the intermediate level, this board can also be used by confirmed or expert snowboarders.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
