With the Party Wave Twin, Bataleon offers a twin-tip version of the wide and short board concept found on the Party Wave directional. Here we are talking about a board meant for powder, offering floatability thanks to its width and that you can choose 5 to 10 cm shorter than your usual size. A nimble and fun snowboard to party!

What is the program of the Bataleon Party Wave Twin snowboard?

The Party Wave Twin features a Pop Core poplar core, paired to biaxial glass fibre for a responsive board with rebound and a medium flex. It has classic camber on the entire length, this provides grip on harder snow when the conditions are not as good or when you have to ride on groomers between two fields of virgin snow. Bateleon’s signature, the 3BT and Sidekick tips with their 3D design provide forgiveness and excellent glide quality in powder. The turns are smoother and the board is more manoeuvrable. As you are dealing with the Party Wave in its Twin version, it should be said that this board is as comfortable in switch as in regular, you will be able to send the rotations you want, land switch, throw butters in pow, no boundaries!

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
