Description

The Thriller is a Bataleon snowboard developed specifically for freestyle. Its twin-tip shape, lightweight construction and accessible flex mean it can be ridden with great playability on all terrains, with a clear preference for park, kickers and piste.

What's in it for the Bataleon Thriller snowboard?

The Bataleon Thriller is a twin-tip, meaning it's symmetrical between front and back. This makes it easier to ride switch (i.e. with feet forward), and gives you a little more maneuverability inside turns. The construction is light and accessible, with a wood core reinforced with glass and carbon fibers, and a classic camber for responsiveness and stability. Finally, the Thriller has a well-balanced flex with pop while remaining playful.

Who is the Bataleon Thriller snowboard for?

The Thriller will be perfect for an intermediate to advanced snowboarder who wants an easy-to-ride, versatile freestyle board with which to ride all over the resort and enjoy everything the park has to offer.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
