Description

Limited edition. The Parkitect enters Burton's lineup for 2015 and we all agreed here to say it was a good looking board! Designed for destroying snowparks and streets, this freestyle bomb features a powerful Super Fly core reinforced with triax fibreglass which gives the board tons pf pop. But as if this wasn't enough, the Parkitect comes with a traditional emphasising this pop and giving the board even more responsiveness. The board begs for tricks all day long, recommended to riders who like speeeeeeed !

What our testers say : Definitely into freestyle, the Parkitect is a fun and powerful board suited for advanced riders up to expert who know what they're doing in a park. The board is super responsive and poppy but it requires legs to be tamed. If you got them, you'll find it precise and well balanced. It's a stiff board made for going big and fast, not the kind of board you take for playing around at the bottom of the park...you're warned.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
