Description

Burton's realeasing 3 versions of the Process for 2015. The traditional Process and the Process Flying V which we knew already and the Process Off Axis, a brand new board designed with freestylers in mind. All boards were designed by Dave Waldron.

The three Process boards come with the same construction, a Super Fly core with triax fibreglass reinforcements enhancing torsional stiffness and liveliness. To make it even snappier, the Process features a traditional camber enhancing energy transmissions for faster edge to edge transfers and more grip. A great choice if you like to ride fast!

What our testers say : Great twin tipped board for advanced riders looking for something lively and yet not too demanding. The Process is a progressive board that works very well on hard snow and that's got enough character to be taken in the snowpark. We recommend it if you want to spend more time learning tricks but you want to keep a board that allows other kinds of riding.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
