Description

More playful and more forgiving than the PBJ, say hello to the DC Focus, a twin-tipped board featuring DC Anti-Camber profile. This specific camber offers a catch-free feel thanks to a flat midsection and two rockered tips, but it also enhances the board's stability at high speed. Construction-wise, we have a biax reinforced Astro Core providing pop and lightweight and complying with freestyle needs. In other words, the Focus is an easy and accessible freestyle board, ideal for riders who want an extra bit of fun under their feet.

What our testers say : This is a comfortable twin, very agile, super easy to move around, perfectly suited for the vast majority of riders. Indeed, advanced freestylers will love the way it works on park features and should add many tricks into their bag this winter, while iintermediate riders or even beginners will appreciate the forgiving and predictable feel delivered. Whatever your level, the Focus will make you better.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
