Description

The Women's Ply is, without much of a surprise, the women version of the Ply. The board returns for 2015 with the same profile and construction it featured in its 2014 version. It incorporates a lively Stratus core (poplar wood) and a Lock & Load camber offering tons of freestyle skills to the board. Poppy and responsive, it feels like you're riding a skateboard without wheels. Perfect for women riders who want to upgrade their park game while keeping the other options open.

What our testers say : The Women's Ply is the ultimate freestyle gun for all advanced women riders out there. If you look for something that's easy to move around, something responsive and poppy, or something you can thrash park rails or kickers with, the Women's Ply is a safe bet. It's also a good choice for intermediate riders looking for a forgiving all-mountain board that handles any terrain with ease.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
