Description

New for 2015, the DF3 is a softer version of the DF2. Designed with freestylers in mind, the board boasts a twin-tip shape, a SuperPop core and a flat camber, three ingredients working together for optimal park use. Built for riders who need something to play with across the mountain, the board delivers stability, agility and forgiveness. Ideally suited for hitting park features and rails, the DF3 also features an durable extruded base increasing its impact resistance. When style meets playfulness...here's the DF3

What our testers say : This is the DF2's little brother. We're still on a twin board but it delivers a more supple and mellow feel making it easier to manoeuver. You won't need iron legs for pulling a nose press and the flexibility of the board makes the whole thing a lot more forgiving. It's a great pick for intermediate riders who'd like to land their first 360 and who'd like to be able to ride the rest of the resort with the same board.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
