Description

A board as fun as gourmet to allow your kid to hit his first slopes… Furthermore, it is very-well decorated with its little crocodile sweets ! After his first runs with the LF board from Drake, maybe your kid will deserve a little sugary reward… We’re just saying…

What can the Drake LF snowboard do?

Because your kid is just too sweet with his rider’s outfit and his board, why wouldn’t you immortalise the moment with a little selfie before going to the beginners piste? Let’s go for the ultimate check : boots tightening is fine, the helmet is put on the right way, the goggle is straight, the snack is ready, so let’s go! He’s grabbing the rope and climbing to the top… You can already be proud because he made it to the peak without falling. Now, it’s time for the slope… Don’t worry, he will do it. Look at him, he’s riding down slowly with his Drake LF board! It is equipped with a flat camber, which makes it manoeuvrable and very forgiving, less likely to catch an edge. Your child will love snowboarding and you will enjoy seeing him riding that way!

Who’s the Drake LF snowboard designed for?

It’s made for kids who are learning snowboarding. Manoeuvrable and forgiving, your child will take a lot of pleasure in riding it!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
