Description

It's about time to step up your game isn't it? With the Team by Drake, you will rediscover what snowboarding really means. Bringing versatility and performance to a new level, the board features a Performer core built with Aspen wood known for its lightweight, its reactivity and its durability. The carbon reinforcement running along the deck turns the board into a responsive and poppy stick, responsiveness enhanced by the traditional camber featured. The board offers tons of stability and precision for the highest performance ever, regardless the terrain you're on.

What our testers say : Drake sells it as their team's favourite and we understand why. The Team is an exceptional performer designed for advanced and expert riders looking for a freestyle-oriented board that's got loads of pop. The board feels compact and powerful, best suited for a park & pipe use although it works perfectly well on groomers where it carves arcs with ease. It's a great pick for riders who charge hard and fast and need a board they can rely on for their next road gap.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
