Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Jones Airheart is a directional twin that offers a dynamic flex combined with a very versatile camber and rocker profile. The wood core is embedded in a triaxial glass fibre sandwich and reinforced with carbon/composite fibres. This means the Airheart is ready for committed runs, offering good stability and recovery in the turns. The rocker zones and slightly back foot position gives you a good lift in the pop and ease of entering turns. Finally, it is also comfortable in switch and therefore offers some options for freestyle, even if its powerful flex requires a good technical level. It's a great way to vary the terrain, engage in turns and perform some tricks. Ideal for an athletic and versatile snowboarder, who is looking for a board that performs well in freeride but is also comfortable in switch.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
