The Jones Aviator 2.0 Signature Series is a signature board designed with French rider Victor de Le Rue. This snowboard has a directional twin shape with a slightly setback foot stance for better manoeuvrability and versatility. It will provide maximum support on any terrain. 

What is the program of the Jones Aviator 2.0 Signature Series snowboard? 

The Aviator 2.0 Signature Series features a Power Core wood core completed by a Koroyd structure at the tips. It saves weight while retaining the same power. In addition, triaxial fiberglass and carbon and composite reinforcements provide a lot of punch. The traditional camber paired to Traction Tech edges offers excellent edge hold to ride fast and aggressively. Very easy to ride with its setback foot stance, it provides better control in the turns and lifts easily on powder. You'll be able to choose between carving groomers or riding backcountry powder. You'll also be able to have fun sending tricks on kicker jumps thanks to its power and stability. Finally, its symmetrical shape allows to ride switch.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
