Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Jones Flagship is a directional snowboard designed to offer maximum manoeuvrability, precision and stability when descending at high-speed, no matter the terrain. To achieve this, you find a tapered tail (the tail is 12.5 mm narrower than the nose), a softer flex at the front to facilitate turn initiations and stiffer at the back for maximum control and rebound at the end of turns, the inserts are positioned further back to improve the control and manoeuvrability as well. To offer all the performance you need, the Flagship enjoys a wood core with multiple reinforcements of glass fibre and basalt providing lots of torsional stiffness, but also a classic camber and Traction Tech 3.0 edges, allowing solid grip even on icy snow. It is truly a powerful board to ride fast and powerfully on any terrain, no matter the snow conditions. For advanced to expert powerful and skilled snowboarders.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
