Description

The BRD model benefits from a highly directional shape that offers great manoeuvrability, control and versatility. It benefits from the know-how of the Lib Tech and the American factory Mervin, featuring an eco-friendly, powerful and lightweight construction and technologies such as the famous Magne-Traction corrugated edges that increase grip on hard snow.

What is the program of the Lib Tech BRD snowboard?

Very voluminous in the front, tighter at the tail and with a setback foot position, the BRD is designed to facilitate turns on all terrains. Thus, with the weight and control offset on the back of the board, you get a natural lift in powder, as well as a more instinctive ability to turn on all types of snow. The Power Construction offers responsiveness and stability without compromising its flexibility making the board fun to ride. Finally, the classic camber combined with the Magne-Traction edges provide maximum efficiency on piste or when riding on hard snow in off-piste conditions. Perfect for strong carvings or drawing beautiful lines between the pines and on powder pillows!

Who is the Lib Tech BRD snowboard for?

This model is designed for experienced or expert snowboarders in love with curves and speed and are looking for a snowboard that allows them to ride on all types of snow, putting rhythm into the descents without having an ultra-demanding crowbar on their feet.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
