Description

The Ejack Knife is the pro-model of the California-born snowboarder Eric Jackson. Like him, his Lib Tech snowboard is powerful, all-purpose and never refuses to demonstrate its style with aerial tricks.

What is the program of the Ejack Knife Lib Tech snowboard?

The Ejack Knife features Lib Tech's HorsePower construction, which mixes poplar, paulownia and fiberglass for an excellent power-to-weight ratio. To take full advantage of this energy, there is a classic camber that allows for maximum ollie pop, lots of boost during turns on hard snow and stability at high speeds. For powder sessions, you can count on the slightly tapered shape of the board and the setback position of the inserts for a natural and effortless lift. The rider's weight is slightly reclined to the back, allowing the nose to pull the head out of the water by itself. It's also great for controlling turns and easily entering curves, whatever the terrain. Nevertheless, this board remains well balanced and allows you to change to switch if needed, at the reception of a big 540° for example.

Who is the Lib Tech Ejack Knife snowboard for?

We recommend this model to snowboarders with a very good technical level and in a good physical condition, looking to get off the beaten track as soon as the conditions allow it and are looking for a versatile board with which they can ride hard and place a few tricks during their runs.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
