What is the program of the Lib Tech Skate Banana snowboard?

The eponymous technology, the Banana Camber, is a combination of reverse and classic camber allowing to benefit from the advantages of both. It makes it smooth to ride, with good grip on hard snow, reinforced by the presence of Magne-Traction edges and a quick lift in powder. Designed to place tricks on every corner of the resort, it also features a soft flex that lets you play with the tips to send flat ground tricks aplenty. It has a twin-tip shape with centred inserts to be able to ride switch at any time and retain maximum options for freestyle.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
