Description

The Lib Tech Terrain Wrecker is inspired by one of the snowboards used by Travis Rice, softened at the flex level so that it can be ridden by common mortals of which you and I are a part of. An evolutionary and versatile board, manufactured in an eco-friendly way in the Mervin factory, the last snowboard factory on American soil.

What is the Lib Tech Terrain Wrecker snowboard program?

The Terrain Wrecker has been designed to work on all types of snow, offering the right compromise between reactivity and playability, while enabling switching without problems. For this, we find a twin directional shape that provides flotation and manoeuvrability, while maintaining a well-balanced board to place tricks, land from a 180° and so on. The C2x hybrid camber mixes classic camber and rocker sections enabling it to work in all types of snow, while offering pop and stability. Grip on hard snow is enhanced by the Magne-Traction edges, which make the Lib Tech boards so successful. So, you can either slide down the slopes and send it in the park or exit the edge of the slope and slash the fresh snow.

Who is the Lib Tech Terrain Wrecker snowboard intended for?

This model is designed for intermediate to advanced snowboarders who don't hesitate to get off the slopes for a variety of fun, but are looking to maintain a board that offers great freestyle options.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
