Description

The Lobster Parkboard belongs to the category of powerful freestyle boards, it features a stiff and responsive flex allowing aggressive riders to charge features and land with steeze. The board is a true gem and hides behind its dinosaur-friendly look tons of pop and a strong park focus thanks to the 3BT Park shape.

What can the Lobster Parkboard snowboard do?

Lobster is releasing a lively twin board suited for powerful riders with an aggressive style. It is a real park board ideally designed for facing the biggest kickers and the scariest gaps. The board is stable like a rock and you can get the speed cranked up with peace of mind. If that makes it a perfect park slayer, it’s also a weapon of choice for messing around the entire mountain. The board grips hard on groomers and delivers enough support to rip the backcountry and shred natural booters and fallen trees. Deep powder may not be its favourite playground due to its short tips but it holds its own if you have the technique. As its name reminds, it is a park board.

Who is the Lobster Parkboard snowboard designed for?

It is a board we recommend to advanced freestylers who want something powerful, precise and stable on their feet. It is not the kind of board that’s flexy and mellow, it’s more of a charger that likes speed and heights.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
