Description

The Fate is a gorgeous freeride oriented piece of wood sculpted for aspiring women riders with ambitions. The board features a poplar Powerlite Core bringing lightweight to its best without sacrificing responsiveness and power. The board is super lively and likes to hit the steepest slopes and the gnarliest spots the mountain has to offer. The directional shape ensures an optimal manoeuverability on powder surface while the traditional camber offers the best edge control and breaking power you may need on hard snow or crud. If you want the mountain to be yours, have faith in your Fate!

What our testers say : This is a great all-rounder that has a lot of character, don't be shy to tell it what you want! The board's active under the feet and requires a bit of legs to be managed. It kicks pretty hard from turn to turn and you need to push a little to make it turn. Best suited for advanced and expert riders who ride anything on the mountain, from wide powder fields to flat groomed slopes through crud, chop and bumps.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
