Description

Ideal for a young snowboarder that has already mastered the basics, the Nitro Arial is a versatile and evolutive snowboard. Perfect for all-mountain riding, the Arial features a directional twin shape to feel comfortable for freestyle and offers manoeuvrability on any type of snow and terrain. The symmetrical shape allows to ride switch and send tricks, while the setback foot stance dramatically facilitates turn initiations while improving the ability to lift on powder. On the other hand, the traditional camber + rocker profile is very versatile as well, as the camber provides grip on groomers while the rockers facilitate edge transitions and the ability to lift off-piste. Finally, the friendly flex is ideal for smaller riders, to prevent your legs from burning!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
