Description

Here is the "standard" version of the Pantera. No flat camber, no Gullwing camber but a nice reactive traditional camber. The board stores so much energy that you better be ready for it. Featuring a PowerLite Core made with poplar wood, the board transfers from an edge to the other at warp speed and links turns with style through the roughest terrains. Its directional shape emphasises the board's versatility allowing outstanding powder performance and racing abilities. If your mission is to rip through the mountain, the Pantera is your wingman.

What our testers say : The Pantera stands in the freeride category but it's got tons of performance to deliver on other terrains. It does excel on powder and offers a powerful and responsive riding, but it's also incredibly stable and strong on firm snow. The directional camber gives the board a nice nimble feel and more control through chop and crud. Recommended to sporty expert riders looking for all-mountain performance.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
