Description

The Suprateam is an ultra-performance board from Nitro for the most versatile and committed riding style possible. To do so, it has an aggressive classic camber, an all-terrain shape and a construction boosted by carbon fibres.

What is the program of the Nitro Suprateam snowboard?

The Nitro Suprateam is a directional twin, meaning it has identical nose and tail to ride switch easily, but the inserts are slightly positioned toward the back to improve the manoeuvrability and ability to lift. Regarding the profile, Nitro has chosen performance with a classic camber on the entire length of the board to promote grip, pop and rebound. Ready to slice the slopes with your carved turns? Far from being limited to groomers, the Suprateam works everywhere, as the setback stance slightly moves the weight toward the back to facilitate the lift in powder. No problems off-piste. The pinnacle of power and versatility.

Who is the Nitro Suprateam snowboard for?

We recommend this model to advanced/expert snowboarders who shred in the descents and are looking for a board to do it all, including freestyle in the park, but rather on big kicker jumps than jib tricks.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
