Description

This year we have a skull statue of liberty for a design coming out of this world. Every year Nitro designers go all-in on the Swindle, a men’s snowboard signed by the Nitro team to jump from the park to the street and rip everything in between. This pure twin with a flat camber is endowed with a Powercore 2 core ultra poppy and reinforced Railkiller edges sharpened to shred rails.

What can the Nitro Swindle snowboard do?

If this board offers a great edge hold on the slopes, its predilection terrain is the freestyle. You can work on your technique and do your first spins on the flat to warm up on the morning, but the Swindle is designed to shred the park features. With such a dynamite stick you can send any tricks and spins on any kicker you can find. Backflip, 720, grabs, grinds, switch,... with a bit of training you will land them all. The Swindle is also a stunning Jib snowboard to pop crazy holly and bend rails like nobody’s business.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
