Description

Twin-tip shape, camber camrock, well-dosed flex, the Nitro T1 offers everything you need for fun in the snowpark while maintaining efficiency throughout the resort. A playful and evolutive model that promotes continued progress in freestyle.

What is the program of the Nitro T1 snowboard?

In addition to its symmetrical shape which offers a natural ease in switch and for all tricks that require to put the snowboard upside down, the T1 has a construction optimized for the practice of freestyle. For example, there are reinforced edges and borders to offer better resistance to impacts, mainly on the snowpark rails. The flex is invigorating without being too demanding, allowing you to hit the slopes while maintaining a good playability. Finally, the camber + rocker profile provides good grip on hard snow, bounce and stability in curves, while facilitating edge to edge transitions and bringing more efficiency on soft snow.

Who is the Nitro T1 snowboard for?

Accessible from the intermediate level but also very good for a very experienced snowboarder looking to maintain comfort, the Nitro T1 will please a wide range of freestyle snowboarders. A good choice for those who ride in the resort spending a good part of the time in the snowpark or trying tricks on the edges of the slopes.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
