Description

Because of its directional twin shape, camber + double rocker profile and its well-balanced performance level, the Ride Algorythm is truly a very versatile board. It offers a wide range of options on any terrain.

What is the program of the Ride Algorythm snowboard?

Twin for the abilities in switch and for freestyle, directional for the control in the turn and the ease to ride off-piste, the Ride Algorythm is a true do-it-all. You have a real tail to send tricks and ride switch, while benefiting from good control of the back foot to enter easily into turns and lift naturally in powder. The directional camrock profile, with more rocker at the front, offers good grip on hardpack and is responsive, while being smooth on edge transfers and it smoothens the ride on transformed snow and in powder. The construction offers a great power/weight ratio, you will never lack pop and rebound thanks to the Aspen, bamboo and paulownia core reinforced by glass fibre and carbon. In addition, the Algorythm does not fear impacts thanks to the Double Impact Plates and Slimewalls technologies. However, it still offers some flexibility to feel comfortable during tricks or to link turns casually when you want to cruise.

Who is the Ride Algorythm snowboard for?

We recommend this model from the intermediate/advanced level. It will suit well-rounded snowboarders who love riding everywhere but do not forget to send some tricks.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
