Description

The graphics aren't really explicit and don't tell you much about the board, but that's Ride' style, whether you like it or not. The Ride Compact is a women-specific board, inspired from the Manic with a similar chape and construction. That means the board has the same freestyle genes as its brother and features a LowRize Rocker and an Aspen woodcore notorious for its durability. The rockered tips allow the board for powder forays and smooth turn transitions while the soft flex pattern enhances its playfulness and its agility between features. In other words, riding the Compact is like turning the whole mountain into a giant snowpark.

What our testers say : This is a nice and sweet progressive board suited for a wide variety of riders from beginner up to intermediate level. The board delivers a smooth unique feel inspiring confidence and progression. The rising tips make the riding catchfree and overall the board feels really stable. We thoroughly recommend it to riders who want to step up their all-mountain game with an easy and forgiving board.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
