Description

The Artifact Rocker gives a good preview of what's Rome capable of in snowboards manufacturing. It's the board which kinda inspired every other Rome boards afterward, the one that set new standards in the small world of snowboard happiness. The board's been designed to be playful and poppy thanks to a twin-tip shape combined to a FreePop Camber profile. That enhances forgiveness and playfulness but it also makes the board more floaty and easier to press on a rail. You can rely on the Stomp core for handling rough landings.

What our testers say : This is probably one of the best boards we got to play with in the rail section of the park. the board is bendy and easy to move around. It's got that nice skate-like poppy feel and inspires confidence on park features. Beginners and intermediate riders will have a blast with it and so will advanced freestylers if they're looking for a new toy to throw around. Highly recommended, it cures creativity diseases!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
