Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Rome Stale Crewzer is a versatile and progressive snowboard, perfect for improving in freestyle and all-mountain riding. It features a directional twin shape, slightly modified from its predecessor, with symmetrical nose and tail and a slightly set-back stance, offering more versatility and manoeuvrability while retaining the switch and freestyle capabilities of a typically freestyle board. It has a wood core reinforced with fibreglass, providing a balanced flex between performance and ease of use.

What is the Rome Stale Crewzer snowboard made for?

The Stale Crewzer is a progressive and versatile board, excellent on all types of terrain. Its directional twin shape increases versatility and manoeuvrability while preserving switch and freestyle performance. The traditional camber underfoot ensures good edge hold on hard snow, and the rockers at the tips make turn initiation easier and improve float in powder. The wood core reinforced with fibreglass provides responsiveness between turns and pop for ollies, without being excessively stiff, making it physically manageable.

Who is the Rome Stale Crewzer snowboard aimed at?

We recommend this model to intermediate to advanced snowboarders looking for a versatile board that allows them to ride all terrains with ease and dynamism while remaining fairly easy to use.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
