Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Rome Warden is a versatile and evolutive snowboard, ideal for beginners and aspiring snowboarders. It has a directional twin shape, with a slightly setback foot stance, for better back foot control and lift on powder, while riding well switch. The soft flex and rocker areas provide lots of forgiveness, for easier turns and better glide on soft snow or powder.

What is the programme of the Rome Warden snowboard?

The Warden features a directional twin shape, symmetrical from nose to tail but with a slightly setback foot stance. This provides control on every terrain, easy lift on pow and great switch handling. The soft flex makes the board easy to ride, while the rocker areas on the tips improve the forgiveness to turn more easily. Finally, the camber + double rocker profile provides the required grip on groomers while remaining very forgiving. As you understand, this board will allow you to progress in any condition!

Who is the Rome Warden snowboard for?

We recommend this model to beginner and intermediate snowboarders. It will particularly suit riders who spend most of the time on groomers but want to be able to have fun on side hits.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
