Description

Lighter version of the Trickstick, the Tesla is designed for beginning women riders looking at linking their first turns with style and ease. The core of the board is thinner, which provides more flexibility and more control. The AmpTek AutoTurn Rocker increases forgiveness and pivot, while it helps giving the board a bit more float when riding on powder. But if a thin core means more flex, it also means less pop...Well, that's how logic works at least. But the guys at Rossignol are above logic. They've made the tips of the board thicker, which on one hand does increase the pop of the board, and enhances its stability on the other hand. The safe bet if you wanna progress on all kinds of terrains.

What our testers say : A fun board that could suit many riders. We'd definitely recommend it to beginners first, who need a progressive tool that will help them consolidate their technique and build up confidence. The board is soft, agile, and forgives most mistakes. But we can also recommend it to advanced riders who want a second board that's extremely playful. A real toy for the days you just wanna chill in the park and do presses effortlessly. In one word, this board is FUN.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
