It's been 3 years that Salomon releases the Salvatore Sanchez, and 3 years that the board is a success. Indeed, within 3 years, the board has become of the most sold from the line. The success has one receipe : a freestyle oriented board with an Aspen light core, Pres-Sure profile rocker and soft flex. It's close to perfection when it's about jibbing thanks to effortless press trick. You don't need to be a shredder anymore to land sick tricks, hold on to your seat, the Sanchez will show you the path.

 

What our testers say : As comfortable in park as in backcountry, the Salvatore Sanchez features a pop and a reverse camber that will suit perfectly your freestyle parctice. Perfect to go high up in the air or to trash the rails, the board (and you) will ask for more. With a good manoeuvrability the board is pretty accessible and will allow intermediate to advanced level riders to progress a lot.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
