Description

Riding the Raygun means riding versatile. The board features a W1 core known for being flexible and forgiving and comes with an All-Terrain Baseline profile enhancing all-mountain performance. This combines with a slight setback improves the board's floatation and manoeuverability. The Hybritech construction diminishes the swingweight and makes the board more stable throughout the turns. Ideal for linking turns with style regardless of the terrain!

 

What our testers say : The board feels a touch more forgiving than the Turbo Dream and therefore targets a bigger range of riders. It carves on groomers with ease and feels stable enough even at high speed. The rockers and setback make the board easily manoeuvrable on powder and inspires progression. No problem either if you wish to do a few park laps before going home, although the setback doesn't make the board super easy for switch riding.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
