Jamie Lynn has been in the industry for about 20 years. His snowboarding style is a blend of power, creativity, traditions and art. For 2015, Lib Tech designed for him a board that looks like him. The Phoenix. Featuring a Power A core blended into a C3 cambered profile, the board delivers optimal power, support and control. The traditional camber combined with the mild rockered midsection offers more pivot on powder with an incredible edge hold on the hardpack. That turns the board into a great powerful all-mountain weapon meeting the needs of hard charging riders who gap roads and drop cliffs for fun.

 

What our testers say : Freestyle oriented board boasting an intermediate flex making it not so hard to manage. It does have a performance-oriented profile with cambered underfoot section offering a responsive and precise feel, that means it's not a board for beginners. Advanced and expert riders should get on well with it. It carves pistes and blasts through pow calling for new tricks and technical progression.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
