Description

The Vola manual structuring device is used to create new structures under the base depending on snow conditions. Structure is just as important as waxing for racing, so it's useful to understand its purpose. A structure draws fine grooves on the base to release moisture as quickly as possible. To make a simple comparison, it's like rain tyres on a car, they help to shed the layer of water and prevent it from accumulating. The structure has the same effect and can produce impressive differences in glide even between two skis with the same waxing but different structures.

- When to use: last operation after brushing.
