Description

The Scott Patrol E2 30L Kit airbag backpack features the Alpride Airbag E2 system. The latter is a very lightweight electronic system which makes it easier when traveling compared to systems that require cartridges. It recharges via the USB port and improves your chances of survival in the advent of an avalanche by preventing you from getting buried thanks to the airbag that inflates very quickly. The backpack part offers a diagonal or A-frame ski carrying system, a compartment for your avalanche safety equipment (shovel and probe), as well as a pocket for your goggles. The pre-shaped hip belt ensures maximum comfort during your freeride sessions. Of course, an airbag backpack constitutes only one element of your mountain safety equipment and does not exempt your from carrying an avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, and from getting proper avalanche rescue training, as well as from inquiring about the conditions in the backcountry.
