Description

The Ortovox Free Rider 28 ski backpack is an excellent model, perfect for freeride expeditions and just as functional for ski touring or splitboarding. It has a very comfortable back panel with soft pads. Equipped with 4 internal compartments, one of which is dedicated to the storage of the shovel and probe, it has a total volume of 28 litres, which allows you to carry all your equipment and all your belongings. It has a ski, snowboard or snowshoe carrying system. It is also equipped with an ice axe holder, a pole holder, a rope holder and a net for your ski helmet. 

In terms of safety, the Free Rider 28 is compatible with the Sas-Tec soft foam Clasp back protector. Sold separately, it resists multiple impacts and protects the spine. In the event of a slight fall, the foam structure absorbs the impact with a slight compression. And when it comes to a fall from a greater height where speed is also an important parameter, the foam instantly firms up to ensure optimal protection.
