Vaude

Albrecht von Dewitz created Vaude in 1974. At the time, the German company was exclusively manufacturing backpacks. Since 2009, his daughter Antje is at the head of the company which now designs tents, sleeping pads and bags, travel, daily life and bike luggage. It also offers a wide range of apparel for mountain activities such as ski touring, mountaineering, mountain biking, gravel cycling, hiking, trekking, etc. Concerned by its environmental impact, Vaude mostly uses Bluesign materials and has even developed the Green Shape label which certifies its products are sustainably designed.
