The Twin Skin range is now well extended, and all types of skiers can find a model to meet their expectations. The Twin Skin Performance is a perfect mix of tolerance and sportiness. An excellent ski to perfect your classic technique.  

What are the characteristics of the Twin Skin Performance Medium cross-country ski?   

In order to present this ski, it is above all important to define what the priority is for the design given by Fischer. The Twin Skin Performance fits into a category that is now quite widespread, that of sport-oriented leisure skis whose objectives are tolerance, Comfort and robustness. This is why the Austrian brand chose an Air Channel Basalite shell, a wooden base with air channels through which fibreglass and basalt veneers rest. Although this type of shell is not the lightest type of shell, the strength-to-weight ratio of this Twin Skin is commendable. The basalt fibres make it lighter and more dynamic in terms of propulsion. The World Cup Pro sole ensures a more than satisfactory glide for this range of skis. The grip is also guaranteed by the Twin Skin system of skins in two slats spread over the retention zone. These skins are of Mix quality, a mix of mohair and synthetic, this design provides two things that are absolutely essential to a ski in this range; ease of grip and durability. If we focus purely on its behaviour, we quickly notice its sport-oriented appearance, with tapered lines and excellent dynamism. The Medium camber provides an easy camber compression and thanks to the mixed skins, the grip is easy to find. It is forgiving of placement faults and guarantees maximum tolerance on the most difficult terrains. Equipped with IFP plates like all Fischer skis, it can only be fitted with Turnamic IFP bindings, compatible with NNN, Prolink and Turnamic boot standards.   

Who is the Fischer Twin Skin Performance Medium cross-country ski for?  

It is a model with a sporty leisure approach, it performs significantly better than a first price ski and features Fischer technological innovations that have been proven in recent years. For us it is a good choice for occasional skiers or beginners in the progressive phase. It offers the opportunity to push the cardio a little bit with a sport-oriented behaviour without losing tolerance.
