We are offering models with cosmetic defects for sale. They are brand new, guaranteed by the manufacturer, and have no construction or manufacturing defects. The screen printing was scratched during transport or storage in our warehouse. A grading based on their condition has been established: This snowboard has been rated as 3*, meaning it has barely visible defects.

The Burton Custom is an all-mountain snowboard, but not just any. This board is Burton's best-selling model. It's a directional twin, very versatile, high-performing yet still manageable.

What is the Burton Custom snowboard made for?

The Custom is the ideal board for advanced all-mountain freestyle riding. For this, it benefits from a directional twin shape that performs very well in switch, offering great options in freestyle, while also improving turn initiation and control across all terrains, as well as float in powder. The wood core reinforced with fibreglass and paired with a traditional camber works wonderfully, providing excellent grip and solid rebound in carving as well as a very nice pop in ollies. With all these qualities, one can enjoy picking up speed and riding various terrains, while still having a board that performs in freestyle, both in the backcountry or jibbing and hitting big jumps in the terrain park.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
