Description

We offer for sale snowboards with defects in appearance. They are brand new, guaranteed by the manufacturer and have no construction-manufacturing defects. The silkscreen has been scratched during transport or storage in our warehouse.
A grading according to their condition has been established: This snowboard has been graded as 3* i.e. it has barely visible defects.

????The Capita Birds Of A Feather is a so-called twin-tip snowboard, designed to be able to ride in either direction without the behavior changing, which is perfect for having maximum freestyle doptions. Its perfectly balanced flex between power and accessibility ensures responsiveness and stability on descents, while keeping the board easy to ride and playful in freestyle. The classic camber + double rocker provides hooks on hard snow and pop in ollie, while maintaining a fluid glide on transformed snow and light powder. Its construction is light and robust. We'd also like to point out that Capita has a comprehensive deconstruction approach. An ultra-versatile snowboard with which intermediate/confirmed snowboarders can progress in freestyle and enjoy all the resort's slopes.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
