In 2000, the former pro-riders Jason Brown and Blue Montgomery launched the Capita Snowboards brand in Seattle. It all starts in a garage with the help of their artist buddies Corey Smith and Dustin Krysak. The brand will soon make a name for itself, not only for its bold and controversial graphics but also for the quality and performance of its snowboards. Capita boards are true concentrates of technological innovations that use sustainable and ecological materials. In 2013, Capita acquired the Elan snowboard factory in Furnitz, Austria, to build the most progressive and advanced snowboard factory in the world: The Mothership. Hydroelectric power, natural gas heating system, zero CO2 emission, everything has been designed to preserve the environment as much as possible. Only 2% of the materials come from Asia, the rest is supplied locally (50%) and by neighbouring countries. An eco-friendly design, an offbeat universe and a style that seduced Jess Kimura and Scott Stevens. Come discover our Capita snowboard binding set and our Capita board selection in our shop !
