Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

We offer for sale snowboards with defects in appearance. They are brand new, guaranteed by the manufacturer and have no construction-manufacturing defects. The serigraphy has been scratched during transport or storage in our warehouse.
A grading according to their condition has been established: This snowboard has been classified as 3*, i.e. it has barely visible defects.

If Jones is renowned for its freeride and splitboard expertise, one of the brand's most essential boards is no less a board with a big freestyle tendency. Twin directional, the Mountain Twin is very switchable, allowing you to place a lot of tricks.

What's in it for the Jones Mountain Twin snowboard?

The Mountain Twin features a peachy wood core reinforced with biaxial glass fibers, as well as a camber + rocker profile effective on all types of snow. It offers pop in ollie, grip on hard snow, remains stable when picking up speed, and launches well on softer snow and powder. Its symmetrical shape allows you to steer or land in switch without difficulty, giving you great freestyle options. At the same time, the recessed position of the inserts gives the board an all-mountain feel, making it easier to enter curves and lift off when the snow gets deep. So, this is a board that can be taken on piste as well as in the park or backcountry, ready for committed rides but also pretty tricks.

Who is the Jones Mountain Twin snowboard for?

Accessible from intermediate/confirmed level, this model will delight a versatile snowboarder who likes to vary the terrain, put some rhythm into the descents and do some freestyle, why not in the snowpark but also on the edges of the piste. It does, however, require a little technical baggage.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
